While a job interview is tricky for everybody, it is especially challenging for international students because intercultural differences highly influence both parties behaviors and perceptions.

Internationale Fachdiskussionen auf dem Hightech-Summit, rund 30 praktische Anwendungen von Start-ups und aus aktuellen Forschungsprojekten der Technischen Universität München (TUM) als Demo oder Podiumsdiskussionen im Rahmen der AI.Society sowie der Robothon®, ein Wettbewerb für junge KI- und Robotik-Talente: munich_i ist eine Hightech-Plattform, die im Rahmen der automatica vom 21. Juni bis 24. Juni 2022 zeigt, wie Mensch und Maschine zusammenwachsen – und Diskussionsstoff liefert, etwa darüber, welche Schritte besonders in der internationalen Vernetzung diverser Forschungseinrichtungen und der Industrie künftig noch wichtig sind.

Prof. Ernst Rank and the TUM-IAS team invite the scientists of TUM and their guests for coffee each Wednesday! Just come over to the TUM-IAS after lunch between 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. and have a coffee with us, meet other scientists and listen from time to time to a short talk (10-15 mins) on a recent major TUM publication or issue – aimed specifically at a non-expert audience.

Professor Günter Blöschl is head of the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Resources Management at the TU Wien. His main research interests are Hydrology and Water Resources, in particular Flood Research, Regional Hydrology, Hydrological Process Studies and Water Management. Günter Blöschl was awarded the 2015 Robert E. Horton Medal at the American Geophysical Union Fall Meeting Honors Ceremony, held on 16 December 2015 in San Francisco. The medal is for "outstanding contributions to hydrology". The Lecture Series is free of charge. However, registration is requested not later than one week before the respective lecture by E-mail (water@tum.de).
