Several opportunities exist for a combined Masters Internship with Thesis in the lab of AG El Khawanky (Med. III - TUM University Hospital) for anyone interested.

Our laboratory investigates why cancer cells become resistant to modern therapies, with a particular focus on leukemia. We study the genetic, epigenetic, and cellular changes that allow cancer cells to adapt and survive treatment. By understanding these resistance mechanisms, we aim to identify new therapeutic vulnerabilities and develop more effective treatment strategies for leukemia and other cancers.
