Land use and climate change effects on insect biology
04.03.2025, Abschlussarbeiten, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten
Land use and climate change are the main factors affecting biodiversity, species richness and their metabolism, with possible impacts on their functions in ecosystems. Using taxonomical, chemistry and computational tools we address these impacts on invertebrates of all kinds, including bees.
Attached you see the current two projects offered but there are many more interesting questions to address. If you are a motivated student, eager to learn more about invertebrates, collaborate in interesting interdisciplinary projects and be part of a growing and very social group, please contact Dr. Alejandra Parreno, with your CV and an intention letter with the kind of interests and background you have.
Looking forward to your contact!
Note: This is an unpaid thesis or project for TUM/LMU students, with possibility to do a thesis with examiners in Ecology. Please check with your student advisors if this is allowed in your master´s program. AI generated applications will not be answered. Thanks for your understanding.
