Bitte geben Sie bei allen Anzeigen eine aussagekräftige Bezeichnung der Aufgabe, eine Beschreibung und durch Komma getrennte Keywords an. Die Bezeichnung 'Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter' ist nicht sinnvoll, da hier nicht erkenntlich ist um welches Fachgebiet bzw. um welche Aufgabe es geht.

PhD Scholarship: AI-enabled code compliance checking in early building design (AI-CHECK)
The Chair of Computational Modeling and Simulation (CMS) at Technical University Munich invites applications for the position of a Research Assistant (m/f/d) for performing fundamental research in the frame of the project AI-CHECK funded by the International Graduate School of Science and Engineering (IGSSE). The candidate has the opportunity to pursue a doctoral degree (Ph.D.). IGSSE grants a fully funded scholarship (€ 2,000 monthly), including a competent international qualification program. The scholarship is for four years provided that the progress of the doctoral project is positively evaluated after the first two years.

Die Professur für Circular Economy am TUM Campus Straubing für Biotechnologie und Nachhaltigkeit sucht zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt zwei wissenschaftliche MitarbeiterInnen zur Bearbeitung interdisziplinärer, praxisorientierter Forschungsprojekte zur Nachhaltigkeitsbewertung von Gebäuden sowie zur Entwicklung von Strategien zur Nutzung von biogenen Rohstoffen. Die Stellen sind zunächst befristet und in Teilzeit. Eine Verlängerung wie auch eine Aufstockung im Rahmen von weiteren Drittmittelprojekten werden angestrebt.

Wissenschaftliche(n) Mitarbeiter(in) (m/w/d) im Bereich Computational Mechanics
Thema des Forschungsprojekts ist „Konforme Raum-Zeit Multi-Level hp Galerkin-Petrov Finite Elemente zur direkten numerischen Simulation von Pulverbettbasiertem Laserschmelzen“.
Im geplanten Projekt sollen Vorarbeiten im Bereich adaptiver Finite Elemente Technologien aufgegriffen und so weiterentwickelt werden, dass der thermische Prozess des Laserstrahlschmelzens auch im Zeitbereich skalenübergreifend numerisch möglichst wirklichkeitsgetreu abbildbar ist. Im Rahmen des Projektes wird an der Modellierung der Phasenumwandlung im Bereich des Schmelzbades und der Berücksichtigung wachsender Geometrien gearbeitet werden. Die Verifikation und Validierung an Benchmarks in Zusammenarbeit mit externen Partnern (z.B. dem National Institute of Science and Technology, USA) sind ebenso Teil des Projektes wie die Weiterentwicklung eines in C++ geschriebenen Simulationsprogrammes. Das Projekt selbst ist je nach Interessenslage vielseitig ausbaubar.

Computational Biologist (E13 or E14)
The interdisciplinary research center TranslaTUM at the Technical University of Munich in Germany is looking for a
Postdoc/PhD in single-cell Bioinformatics
Single-cell technologies have recently gained tremendous popularity with a big impact on understanding the pathogenesis of diseases and the design of targeted therapies. Analyzing high-dimensional single-cell data has its own statistical and computational challenges, and standard tools often cannot be applied. The purpose of the position and goal of the project is to develop and apply bioinformatic tools for the analysis of high-dimensional immunological data sets. Our laboratory (Zielinski lab) focusses on human T cell regulation in health and disease. We are currently deciphering the heterogeneity and regulation of tissue resident T cells at single cell resolution in human peripheral tissues.
