Join us! EnHands - Enabling accessible prosthetic hands

02.10.2026, Studentische Hilfskräfte, Praktikantenstellen, Studienarbeiten

EnHands e.V. is a non-profit student organization at the Technical University of Munich working to develop accessible upper-limb prostheses for low and middle-income countries. We have been since partnering with TUM chairs and institutes to bridge academic research and resourceful engineering with real-world impact. EnHands develops affordable upper-limb prostheses for underserved communities. We partner with the Naya Qadam Trust who are experts in low-cost prosthetics to deliver functional, accessible designs to developing regions. We are currently looking for motivated students to join our team. In particular, we're looking for support in the following subteams: - Cosmetic subteam: Responsible for developing passive devices with a cosmetic appeal - Functional subteam: Responsible for our mechanical prosthesis, capable of realizing three different hand grasps - User Feedback subteam: Responsible for conducting user studies and gathering patient feedback in and outside of Germany - Organization team: Responsible for fundraising, social media, HR among others We don't have any strict requirements for new members; many of us didn't have prior experience before joining the project and learned by doing. Our main requirements are motivation and responsibility: we're looking for members we can rely on and are also eager to help our cause. You can find out more about us in our website: https://enhands.de. Check out our blog to see what we have done in the past year! On our website, you'll also find specific openings in each subteam: https://enhands.de/apply. If you're interested in joining us, send us an email! We look forward to hearing from you!
