Tutor with Blockchain Focus for Advanced Topics of Software Engineering

The Chair of Information System Development and Operation is looking for a tutor for the upcoming semester of the Advanced Topics of Software Engineering course.
Advanced Topics of Software Engineering is a mandatory course in the Master's programme in Information Systems and Automotive Software Engineering and an elective course for students from various programmes, such as Bioinformatics, Aerospace, and Politics & Technology. Part of it will be an introductory exercise on blockchain. This will be a great opportunity to introduce a large amount of master students to the topic.
As tutor for the blockchain exercise, you will - Prepare and give a little introduction to EVM smart contract development in the exercise (one time, 20/30 min). - Prepare an introductory exercise (simple smart contract-based service) and help students with questions during one exam. - In addition, you would support exam supervision (max. two dates a 2h) and exam correction.Working on the course will help you deepen your understanding of software engineering from both theoretical and practical perspectives, strengthen your practical software engineering skills, and develop your communication and mentoring skills by supporting students in their learning and helping them develop practical skills.
As part of the chair's team, you will also develop your presentation, collaboration, and teamwork skills. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about the topic and interested in supporting other students!
Position period: 12 October to 31 March
Working hours: 6 hours per week
