Looking for a Master's thesis student - Agentic Digital Twins in Precision Medicine
15.09.2026, Studentische Hilfskräfte, Praktikantenstellen, Studienarbeiten
I'm Akhila Abdulnazar, a Health AI Fellow at Helmholtz Munich. My background is in semantic interoperability and annotation pipelines for German EHRs, and LLMs/RAG for clinical data (PhD + 1 year postdoc at Medical University of Graz). I'm now working on agentic AI systems for digital twins in precision medicine, and looking for a motivated Master's student to join this direction for a thesis project.
What this could look like:
Building/evaluating agentic AI pipelines that reason over patient data to support digital twin models
Exploring how LLM-based agents can orchestrate multi-modal clinical/biomedical data for personalized medicine
(Open to shaping the exact scope together based on your interests and background)
Good fit if you have:
Strong Python skills, some ML/deep learning background
Interest in healthcare AI, agentic systems, or biomedical/clinical data
Bonus: experience with LLMs, RAG, clinical NLP, or EHR data.
Based at Helmholtz Munich, potential co-supervision with TUM.
If this sounds interesting, reach out — happy to chat about the project and see if it's a good fit!
