Thesis Project in Computer Science - Efficient 3D Modeling for Wire Arc Additive Manufacturing (WAAM) parts

The objective of this project is to develop a cost-effective and time-efficient method for creating 3D raw part models for WAAM components. The focus will be on utilizing process and/or optical data to generate accurate raw part models. Implementing AI technologies aims to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of modeling while reducing the reliance on expensive measuring equipment.
