[Abschlussarbeiten, Bachelorarbeite] In situ proteomics and N-glycomics
23.09.2025, Abschlussarbeiten, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten
Topic: Investigation of glycans and their role in cancer
Why is this exciting?
Glycomics provides sensitive and specific biomarkers for diagnosis, prognosis, and therapy development by detecting changes in glycan structures and glycosylation patterns. By analyzing glycans directly in tissue, mass spectrometry imaging preserves morphological context while providing molecular information, enabling a deeper understanding of tumor biology.
What you will gain 🚀
- Hands-on experience in mass spectrometry imaging
- Solid knowledge in spatialomics
- Insights into tumor pathology
- Understanding of method development in molecular research
Requirements 📌
These projects require availability for laboratory work 2–3 days per week on-site at the Institute of Pathology, Technical University of Munich (TUM).
How to apply 💡
