Thema: Encapsulation of Active Natural Compounds for Food Packaging Applications
Food spoilage caused by microbial growth is a significant concern in the food industry. Using natural antimicrobial compounds in food packaging materials has gained attention as a promising approach to prevent microbial contamination and extend the shelf life of food products. This project aims to advance food packaging technology, promote food safety, and reduce food waste by developing effective encapsulation methods for natural antimicrobial compounds. The experimental research will involve encapsulation method development in the laboratory. As well as characterizing the encapsulated compounds, including particle size, morphology, encapsulation efficiency, and release kinetics. We seek students (w/m) for a Research Internship or Master's Thesis in the above thematic area.

– Timely report of the work status
