Issue 02/2012
Dear Students,
Welcome to the summer term of 2012! The new doctoral degree regulations that recently came into force offer a whole new range of opportunities and options for obtaining a doctorate at the TUM. Andreas Haslbeck, the spokesperson of TUM’s Doctoral Council, explains in the current edition of TUMstudinews why this new choice of topics in particular is now available.
And we would also appreciate your feedback! You can contribute towards improving the facilities on offer by sending us your comments: with immediate effect, the TUM portal provides a convenient online form for submitting any queries, suggestions and requests you may have. We guarantee that every single matter will be dealt with quickly and in a professional manner.
The university library is offering a new service, too: EndNote, the reference management program that saves a lot of work when it comes to quoting from the literature. Last but not least, we would like to draw your attention to the wide range of services available from the Bavarian Virtual University (vhb). There are about 270 courses available free to all TUM students in the summer term.
With kind regards,
Your
Prof. Regine Keller
