Colloquium Bioinformatics ans Systems Biology

Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI) is a new method for quantitative imaging of the local concentration of magnetic tracer materials. In general, the method has potential for various applications in medical imaging. However, applications like coronary and myocardial perfusion imaging in cardio-vascular can greatly benefit from the combination of high acquisition rates with quantitativeness and spatial resolutions in the mm range. The talk will provide an introduction into the basics of the method, present first results and will also aim at a comparison to other methods for medical imaging that are using contrast agents and tracer materials.

Alpenbaukonferenz „Towards Net Zero Energy Buildings (NZEB)“ bietet die herausragende Möglichkeit zum intensiven Erfahrungs- und Wissensaustausch im Bereich von Null-Energie-Gebäuden und -Stadtquartieren, nachhaltigen und energieeffizienten Bauweisen, Baukultur und verwandten Bauthemen. Das Ziel der Konferenz ist die Entwicklung von Strategien und Lösungsansätzen zur Umsetzung einer Niedrigstenergie-Baukultur in den Alpinen Regionen Europas.
