Student Assistant (m/f/d) in Online Marketing

The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning is looking for a Student Assistant (m/f/d) in Online Marketing at the earliest possible date, working 20 hours per week for a minimum of six months.

The TUM Institute for LifeLong Learning brings together the Technical University of Munich's (TUM) continuing education activities in the area of professional and talent development. Our mission is to support the continuous, research-based development of working professionals at all career stages from academia, business and society. Our programs cover both disciplinary and interdisciplinary fields, including management and leadership.
Through innovative, digitally supported learning formats and the integration of cutting-edge knowledge from engineering and the natural sciences, we prepare professionals and leaders to address current and future challenges in society responsibly and effectively.

What we offer:
You will join a dynamic and international team in a modern workplace in the heart of Schwabing. The role offers a broad range of opportunities to gain hands-on experience in Marketing & Sales while contributing your skills and talents to a topic with real relevance for society. Your working hours can be arranged flexibly around your university schedule in consultation with the team.

Your responsibilities:

•You create and design marketing materials for digital campaigns, particularly social media ads and display advertising, using tools such as Canva.
•You support competitor research and analyze advertising activities and marketing campaigns across different online channels. You identify relevant advertising platforms and new opportunities for promoting our programs.
•You support the development and optimization of advertising copy and campaign content in both German and English.
•You create and maintain performance marketing reports in Looker Studio and analyze relevant metrics to evaluate the success of our marketing activities.
•You contribute to the planning, implementation, and optimization of online marketing campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Google, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
•You analyze relevant data from our CRM system and support its preparation for marketing and sales activities.

Your profile:

•You are currently enrolled in a degree program in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Media, Digital Business or a related field.
•You are interested in digital marketing, online advertising and data-driven campaigns and are keen to gain practical experience in performance marketing.
•You work in a structured, analytical and detail-oriented manner and enjoy turning data and market insights into actionable recommendations.
•Ideally, you have some initial experience with digital marketing tools, social media platforms or design tools such as Canva.
•You are tech-savvy and eager to quickly learn new systems, platforms and tools, such as CRM systems and Looker Studio.
•You have excellent English skills and communicate confidently in German.
