Tutor for "Modeling of Uncertainty and Data in Engineering Sciences" (WiSe 2026/27)

Are you good at probability theory and uncertainty modeling, and enjoy explaining things to fellow students? For the course "Modeling of Uncertainty and Data in Engineering Sciences" we are looking for tutors to support the teaching of the tutorial sessions.
Your tasks:
- Independently teaching a series of tutorial sessions for the course "Modeling of Uncertainty and Data in Engineering Sciences"
- Helping students work through exercises on uncertainty modeling, probability theory, and related methods, and discussing the solutions with them
- Total workload for the winter semester: approx. 30–60 hours, depending on preferences and demand for the positions
You're a good fit if you enjoy:
- Probability theory, statistics, and uncertainty modeling
- Explaining concepts and supporting fellow students in their learning
- Working independently and flexibly
What you bring:
- A grade better than 2.5 in this course or a similar course
- BSc students are preferred, but TUM MSc students may also apply
- Reliability and enjoyment working with students
What we offer:
- Good compensation for the hours spent
- Flexibility with the times/dates
