Student Assistant (HiWi) - Visual Computing & AI - Dataset of Human Heads

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Design a script for the capture sessions that participants follow.

- Organize scanning sessions (advertisement, appointments, participation agreements)

- Conduct scanning sessions (introduce and guide participants through the capture process and ensure high-quality scans)

- Dataset Management (develop novel data-processing tools, such as for annotation generation, labeling, etc.)


Requirements:
- Strong programming skills: Python and C++ are a must

- Solid knowledge of Computer Vision and Machine Learning (demonstrated with courses such as I2DL, 3D Scanning & Motion Capture, or similar)

- Basic knowledge of networking (Ethernet/IP) or the willingness to learn it (for resolving common issues with the setup)

- Patience and empathy with volunteering participants.

The starting date should be as soon as possible. Weekly working hours will be flexible, around 8 hours/week.
