We are reaching out to invite you to apply for a student assistant position (8hs/week) in the upcoming summer term for the lecture "Probability Theory & Machine Learning" (INHN0020, Prof. Fraser, Campus Heilbronn). The lecture is part of the mathematics modules in the Bachelor in Information Engineering and gives and introduction in discrete and continuous probability theory and a brief overview of how these concepts can be used in machine learning. Additional skills that would make you a great fit include: Excellent command of English Patience and reliability in independently grading homework A passion for supporting students of all skill levels Ability to work well in a team Your responsibilities will include: Correcting and grading students' homework Being available to assist students via Moodle Assisting during exams (If applicable) Helping develop course materials (e.g., new exercises, Jupyter notebooks) Interested?
