The objective of this master's thesis is to develop a 12-week digital lifestyle intervention with semi-structured interviews for young adults with CHD. Measurements will be conducted at the TUM Klinikum Deutsches Herzzentrum (Lazarettstrasse 36, 80636 München).
Background:
In recent years, the clinical picture of patients with congenital heart disease (CHD; angeborener Herzfehler) has changed significantly. While early childhood mortality used to be the main concern, today around 97% of affected individuals reach adulthood. Consequently, long-term morbidity and preventive health care have become central issues. Lifestyle, especially physical activity and exercise but also nutrition, psychological wellbeing, sleep and weight management play crucial roles in maintaining health in this population. There is a great need for intervention.
Tasks:
-Interviews: Preparation of an interview guide, Conduct of semi-structured interviews
-Data collection: Coordination of participant recruitment and appointment schedules
-Data Analysis: Transcription and Evaluation

-Enrolled in a relevant master's program (Health or Sports Science, …
-Experience with qualitative research methods of advantage
-Strong organizational and communication skills
-Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
