Students Assistant to Integrate AI-Tools in University Teaching

Are you passionate about AI in higher education? Do you want to actively shape how AI tools are used in teaching and learning at TUM? Become an AI Guide!
We’re looking for motivated students with an interest in AI and digital education to become part of our AI Guides team.
The chair of Electric Power Transmission and Distribution has been awarded with an AI Guide for the Winter Semester 2025/26. The AI guide will support with the introduction of AI-tools to the lecture “Energy Supply in Competitive Markets”.
- A first phase will include a 24 hour selfpaced online training followed by a on campus course on 17.10.25 or 30.10.25.
- The second phase is to develop a concept for using AI-tools in the lecture context.
- The third phase includes the implementation and testing of the choosen AI-tool(s).
- For the summer term evaluation of the concept, fine tunig of the AI-tools and implementation into other lectures is planned.
As an AI Guide, you will:
- Get trained in current AI tools and teaching concepts.
- Offer 1:1 consultations to instructors.
- Work directly with TUM instructors to explore and support the use of AI in teaching.
- Help students use AI tools effectively

Requirements:
- Independent, self-responsible, and structured way of working, good communication skills.
- Experience in using AI and online teaching tools, or a high level of willingness to engage intensively in this area.
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- You will be a TUM student for at least the winter term 2025/26 (preferably longer).
AI Guides may work up to 8 hours per week starting on 1.10.2025 for the duration of 6 to 12 months. Remuneration is based on the uniform TUM remuneration rates.
