Teaching Assistant for the Geoinformation Course

The Chair of Cartography and Visual Analytics is looking for a Teaching Assistant (HiWi) to support the teaching of the Master-level course Geo-Information.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented student with:
• A careful and precise working style
• Solid knowledge of desktop GIS software, including both ArcGIS Pro and QGIS:
• Experience in geospatial data processing and analysis
• Strong English writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Word

Applicants must be enrolled at a German university (TUM preferred), ideally in Cartography, Geodesy and Geoinformatics, Geography, or a related field.


Responsibilities:

Your tasks will include:
• Proofreading, updating, and editing tutorials for desktop GIS software
• Assisting in the preparation of exercise materials and instruction sheets
• Supporting various tasks related to the teaching of the Geo-Information course


We Offer:

A HiWi contract for 3–6 hours per week for up to four months, with flexible working hours. We hope to fill the posi-tion as soon as possible.
