Student Assistant - Full-Stack Web Development for CommonRoad
24.06.2025, Studentische Hilfskräfte, Praktikantenstellen, Studienarbeiten
The Cyber Physical Systems Group is looking for an experienced full-stack web developer to start as soon as possible. The main task is to design and develop a framework that generalizes the existing CommonRoad web application (commonroad.in.tum.de) to be applicable to other robotic benchmarks with similar requirements (e.g., autonomous vessels).
Our web application at commonroad.in.tum.de provides a benchmark for motion planning algorithms of autonomous vehicles. It offers users a large number of different traffic scenarios to download, and solutions can be uploaded to be evaluated automatically.
To enable rapid deployment of web applications for other robotic benchmarks with similar requirements (e.g., autonomous vessels), we want to develop a web framework that generalizes the existing application in a meaningful way. For this task, we are looking for an experienced full-stack developer to start as soon as possible.
Requirements
You should have experience in full-stack web development, preferably with React and Django.
We only employ TUM students with at least two remaining semesters until graduation.
Offering
We offer challenging and varied tasks in an open working environment, where bringing your own ideas is absolutely welcome. We use state-of-the-art web technologies and are interested in continuous further development in this respect.
We offer flexible working hours up to 20h/week and you will mostly work from home with regular meetings. The hourly wage is 14€ for Bachelor students and 15.41€ for Master students.
Application
You find the job offer exciting? Then send me your application (including your CV and a current grade sheet) to sebi.mair@tum.de.
