Student Assistant (m/f/d) to support Research Project in Battery Modelling

The Chair of Electrical Energy Storage Technology (EES) is currently looking for a student assistant to support the research project ADMirABLE (Artificial Intelligence-supported Digital Twins for the Modeling of Aging to Optimize the Operation and Lifetime of Energy Storage Systems).
Your Tasks:
- Support the development of an electrochemical–thermal coupled p2D battery model in PyBaMM
- Model parameterization for new and aged cells, including laboratory work

Assist the implementation of a physico-chemical aging model, including the
mapping of degradation mechanisms
Your Profile:
- Enrollment at TUM
- High level of self-organization and reliability
- Good skills in Python
- Experience with battery modeling would be beneficial
- German language skills are beneficial but not strictly necessary
