We seek a student assistant (m/f/d) to develop a human-machine interface.
The Chair of Biochemical Engineering develops light-controlled affinity chromatography for antibody purification with the start-up Lumatix Biotech GmbH. In our interdisciplinary team, biotechnology and organic chemistry go hand in hand with prototyping, electronics, and optics. We seek a student assistant (m/f/d) to develop a human-machine interface. Based on an STM32 embedded display and a given specification sheet, a functional graphical user interface and backend code are to be designed and tested, if necessary, in several iterations.
Tasks:
- Convert a schematic of functions into a functional graphical user interface
- Program simple backend functions like PWM signal generation
- Testing of code with given hardware, adaptation if necessary
Requirements:
- Knowledge of STM32 Cube / Cube X / C++
- Enjoy developing a graphical user interface with visual appeal
- Current enrollment
- Careful, reliable, and independent way of working
We offer:
- Insights into a highly interdisciplinary research project
- Flexible working hours
- If successful, continuation of work on a project basis.
We look forward to receiving your application (a short cover letter focusing on previous activities in this field, a CV, and certificates in a PDF file) by e-mail to Ingmar Polte at Ingmar.polte@tum.de
