We are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) in electronics development.
The Chair of Biochemical Engineering develops light-controlled affinity chromatography for antibody purification with the start-up Lumatix Biotech GmbH. In our interdisciplinary team, biotechnology and organic chemistry go hand in hand with prototyping, electronics, and optics. We are looking for a student assistant (m/f/d) in electronics development. Based on a given specification sheet, a functional circuit diagram layout is to be developed independently, which is then converted into a PCB layout. This should be assembled and tested as hardware, if necessary, in several iterations.
Tasks:
- Convert specifications into circuit diagrams
- Create PCB layout
- Assemble, solder, and test PCBs
Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of converting electrical requirements into circuit diagrams
- Relevant knowledge of digital PCB design
- Practical skills in assembling, soldering, and testing PCBs
- Current enrollment
- Careful, reliable, and independent way of working
We offer:
- Insights into a highly interdisciplinary research project
- Flexible working hours
- If successful, continuation of work on a project basis.
We look forward to receiving your application (a short cover letter focusing on previous activities in this field, a CV, and certificates in a PDF file) by e-mail to Ingmar Polte at ingmar.polte@tum.de.
