As a central service institution of the Technical University of Munich, the TUM Language Center offers courses in 17 different languages for TUM students and employees at four TUM locations in Munich, Garching, Freising-Weihenstephan and Straubing.

Your profile:

• Ability to work from the Munich campus for at least some of your hours (in particular Friday afternoons)
• Very good knowledge of English and German, both written and spoken. 
• Independent, responsible and structured way of working, good communication skills
• Confident handling of common MS Office programmes and high affinity to IT-related topics
• Experience in the use of online learning platforms (e.g. Moodle) and online teaching tools or a high level of willingness to familiarise oneself intensively with this area
• Experience and interest in using programming skills to optimise administrative workflows. Python knowledge is an advantage.
• Experience and interest in gamification an advantage, and a enthusiasm to learn and assist in producing content for our language courses.
• You have not yet completed a Master's degree.

Tasks:

• Supporting the SZ in the delivery of Moodle-based language tests
• Supporting the English department in the creation and use of online teaching tools (especially Moodle).
• Upon recruitment, earliest participation in the training of the Tutor Academy. 
• Creating statistics in Excel
• Support with administrative tasks, as well as TUM information events.
