Student Research Assistant Position

The Chair of Corporate Sustainability is seeking a student assistant (20h/week, starting in April 2024, for 6 months) to support research and teaching. Key focus areas: AI for Social Impact Measurement and Scaling Social Impact in Renewable Energy in the Global South. The role primarily involves working on an EU-funded project developing an AI-based methodology for social impact measurement, in collaboration with leonardo. and the Impact Hub Network.
The Chair offers:

Tasks include:
- Developing practice-oriented research outcomes, including business plans and market research
- Conducting interviews and observations for qualitative research
- Performing data analysis and contributing to academic writing
- Presenting research findings at conferences
- Supporting ongoing research on social impact in renewable energy, particularly mini-grid systems and green hydrogen
- Assisting with minor teaching-related tasks
Job qualifications are:
- Bachelor degree, preferably in management. However, candidates with degrees in sustainability, energyrelated fields, or a combination of management and these areas will also be considered
- Interest in social impact measurement, AI, and renewable energy
- Strong analytical and academic writing skills
- Knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative data analysis is an advantage
- Independent and structured working style
- Excellent English skills in spoken and written form
