ExamAllocation: student position for the continued development of a tool for the allocation of exam supervisions

"ExamAllocation" is a tool internally developed to automate the allocation of staff members for exam supervisions and exam grading. We are looking for a student assistant to continue the development of the ExamAllocation tool.
"ExamAllocation" is a tool which is internally developed at the Department of Mathematics at TUM. Its objective is to automate the allocation of staff members for exam supervisions and exam grading in the department.
We currently have an opening for a student position to continue the development of the ExamAllocation tool. Our goal is to take it into production as soon as possible.
WHAT WE OFFER

- student position for 8-9hrs/week (exact working time is negotiable) for the duration of the summer semester 2025 (April - September 2025) which can potentially be extended
- flexible working hours
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- experience in Python
- knowledge of SQL databases
- some experience with Git
- ability to work independently
- good communication skills
- bonus: experience with FastAPI and/or integer programming (including MIP solvers) are a plus
