The TUM SEED Center for Sustainable Energies, Entrepreneurship and Development at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) conducts research and offers higher education to contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Funded by DAAD, the TUM SEED Center collaborates with ten leading technical universities in the Global South, including Burkina Institute of Technology (Burkina Faso), Bahir Dar University (Ethiopia), Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana), Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (India), Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Kenya), Namibia University of Science and Technology (Namibia), Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú (Peru), Stellenbosch University (South Africa), and Makerere University (Uganda). Are you passionate about global collaboration, coordinating impactful projects, and supporting sustainable development? TUM SEED Center is looking for:

Student Assistant m/f/d (8 hours per week)

The position will start from 1 March 2025.

Your tasks include:

• Assist in organizing and implementing the SEED Annual Symposium 2025 and International Summer School 2025, held in Munich

• Support academic exchange by coordination of visits, communication with partner universities, and guidance to participants

• Coordinate travel arrangements for scholars and exchange students, including flights, accommodation, and visas

• Act as a point of contact for participants, providing assistance and information (e.g., writing travel guides)

• Administrative tasks (e.g., data management)

Your profile:

• Currently enrolled as a bachelor or master student at TUM,

• Studies in the field of sustainable entrepreneurship, sustainable energies or development

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Skilled in Microsoft Office and open to learning and using digital tools and communication platforms

• Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently
