Student Assistant (m/f/d) - 3D Slicer Extension Development for Medical Image Registration

This role is ideal for a student with strong programming skills who is interested in contributing to research and being a co-author on a publication.

• Program and develop a 3D Slicer extension for a user study in medical image registration.
• Collaborate with our research team to design, test, and refine the extension.
• Document code, user instructions, and provide regular updates to the team.

• Solid proficiency in Python and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) outside of Jupyter Notebooks.
• Prior experience with 3D Slicer is a plus.
• Ability to work independently, with a high level of responsibility.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude.

• Gain hands-on experience in medical image processing.
• Contribute to a user study and become a co-author of a publication.
