The Professorship of Public Policy for the Green Transition (PPGT) focuses on designing and evaluating policies for the green transition worldwide. The group uses a variety of methods from automated data analyses (e.g. via machine learning) to qualitative analyses (e.g. via interviews) to support ambitious policies for climate and energy transitions.
This position We are looking for a Research Assistant (RA) in Data Science and Visualization (~8 - 16h per week) to support our research project on analyzing financial networks to foster climate-tech innovation.
What we are looking for
- A highly motivated Master's student, enrolled at TUM, with the ability to take responsibility and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong proficiency in Python is essential; experience in natural language processing, database management, or network analysis is a plus.
- Experience in visualizing research data and creating compelling figures using tools such as matplotlib, Plotly, etc.
