HIWI - Land-use/land-cover heterogeneity influence in biodiversity in agricultural landscapes

Are you interested in exploring impacts of land use in agricultural landscapes? Do you have advanced knowledge of GIS and image analyses and would like to apply it to biodiversity conservation project? Do you want to be part of an international and interdisciplinary project?
We are looking for a motivated student from the Technical University of Munich to work in part of our project analysing land use cover and heterogeneity in agricultural landscapes across Germany and Belgium.
Your profile:
- advanced level of GIS knowledge
- advanced level of Phyton/R knowledge
- motivation to work interdisciplinary
- happy to work as part of a team, teach and learn from others
We offer:
- a 3 months HIWI position, starting as soon as possible
- standard salary according to your academic level (bachelor/master)
- participation in an international conservation project with access to publications
- guidance and support in achieving the tasks
- possibility for internships and thesis also available
