Tutor (f/m/d) for Physics of Fluids Course

The Professorship of Multiscale Modeling of Fluid Materials at the Department of Mechanical Engineering is looking for two candidates for a position of a tutor (Studentische Hilfskraft). The candidates will be helping with the design and implementation of the course Physics of Fluids offered to MSc students at the Materials Science and Engineering department. The course is taught in English.

Our Offer
 - flexible working hours with a workload of 3h/week between 01.11.2020 until 31.03.2021
 - remuneration according to the standards for student / academic assistants at the TUM

Your tasks
The following tasks will be divided between several assistants:
 - support in the preparation of the learning materials for the exercises (handouts, solutions)
 - answering students’ questions

Your profile
- BSc degree in informatics, physics, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
 - good understanding of the basics of Physics of Fluids from the molecular perspective (see the contents of course MW2361 for more information)
 - proficiency in Matlab programming language
 - fluency in written and oral English language (knowledge of German is not required)
 - reliability, ability to work in a team, fondness of teaching
