Projects in Landscape Ecology and Invertebrate Biodiversity
17.06.2025, Abschlussarbeiten, Bachelor- und Masterarbeiten
As part of the project TrophNiche you can get trained in invertebrate determination and sorting, stats and GIS analyses. Most of the work is in the lab, where samples taken in a gradient of land use intensity are ready for cleaning and sorting. We are now a big group of people and we work together to uncover a great diversity of insects, spiders, among others. These groups are differently affected by human activities and many are bioindicators of sustainable agriculture.
The project is offered as a thesis (bachelor/master) or internship for credits, for students of TUM and LMU with a valid matriculation for a minimum of 3 months. We are based in Freising Campus.
No previous experience is needed but a great motivation and responsibility.
