Entrepreneurial Education Portfolio Manager

Are you passionate about shaping the future of academic education? Do you want to advance innovative, interdisciplinary learning and coordinate a strategic initiative that empowers students to design their own entrepreneurial learning journeys at one of Europe’s leading universities?

We are seeking a motivated scientific employee (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter, m/w/d) for a 50% part-time position (20 hours/ week) to join the Chair of Entrepreneurial Education (Prof. Dr. Anne Tryba) at the TUM Entrepreneurship Research Institute. The position is offered under the public sector pay scale (TV-L E13; 50%) and is ideally combined with pursuing a PhD at the Chair. The Chair’s research focuses on entrepreneurial learning and teaching. We maintain close ties to TUM's vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem, including UnternehmerTUM and TUM Venture Labs. The position is embedded in the TUM Learning Pathways (LEAP) project, a university-wide transformation project funded by the Stiftung Innovation in der Hochschullehre. LEAP aims to develop personalized learning paths that prepare students for a dynamic and complex professional world. In this role, you will coordinate the Entrepreneurship Focus Area — a cluster of innovative teaching formats designed to equip students with entrepreneurial competencies for the future.

Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic coordination within TUM LEAP: Align stakeholders in TUM’s entrepreneurial education portfolio through effective communication, workshops, and meetings; support the development and curation of the Entrepreneurship Focus Area
  • Portfolio management: Facilitate and refine the continuous improvement process for TUM’s entrepreneurial education offerings
  • Trends and needs analysis: Conduct research on best practices, trends, and requirements in entrepreneurship education
  • Data-driven optimization: Establish a systematic assessment and mapping of TUM's entrepreneurship education components to talent journeys
  • Program development: Contribute to strategic initiatives to scale and optimize entrepreneurship education
  • Innovation in education formats: Explore and support the development of new target group-specific entrepreneurship education programs
  • Communication \& outreach: Support the internal and external communication of entrepreneurship education offerings tailored to diverse audiences
  • Partnership management: Identify, establish, and maintain strategic collaborations with universities, industry, policymakers, and foundations
  • Decision support: Synthesize insights from research and stakeholder dialogues to create actionable recommendations for leadership

Your Profile

  • Outstanding university degree (Master’s, Diploma) in management, business informatics, or a related field
  • Interest in pursuing a TUM PhD degree in Management (Chair of Entrepreneurial Education)
  • Passion for entrepreneurship and entrepreneurship education, and an interest in becoming an expert in this field
  • Strong analytical skills and a solid knowledge of statistics and empirical research methods
  • Professional experience in project and stakeholder management, strong organizational skills
  • Strategy consulting experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Self-driven, pragmatic, and target-oriented way of working with a high degree of ownership
  • Enthusiastic, reliable team player willing to learn and take on
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written)
