Candidates should hold an outstanding M.Sc. degree from an internationally renowned research institution and demonstrate a strong interest in research. A proven track record of scientific work, such as prior publications, is beneficial. We particularly value a solid theoretical foundation in ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด, ๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฟ๐ผ๐น, or ๐๐ฎ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐, combined with ๐ต๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐-๐ผ๐ป ๐ฒ๐

The PhD focuses on safe and reliable loco-manipulation for mobile and interactive robots such as humanoids. While learning-based methods enable advanced locomotion and manipulation, deploying them safely in real-world environments remains challenging.
