10.09.2024, Wissenschaftliches Personal

The newly founded ‘Institute of Molecular Vascular Medicine’ at the Technical University in Munich, Germany (Director: Prof. Lars Maegdefessel) within the Klinikum rechts der Isar is looking for a fully funded doctoral researcher for the 2024 cohort of the Joint Academy of Doctoral Studies (JADS) between Technical University Munich and Imperial College London with a focus on “Health Resilience in a Changing Environment”. The advertised project will be performed in close collaboration with Prof. Manuel Mayr at ICL. The aim of the project is to determine the effect and affected molecular mechanisms of Micro-and Nanoplastics (MNPs) in Atherosclerosis. The lab is part of the Munich Heart Alliance (www.munich-heart-alliance.de) within the German Center for Cardiovascular Research (DZHK; www.dzhk.de), two DFG-sponsored collaborative research centers (CRCs; www.sfb1123.med.uni-muenchen.de; https://cardiovascular-ncrna.de ), and the BMBF-funded Excellence Cluster on ‘Nucleic acid based therapies: CNATM’ (https://www.clusters4future.de/die-zukunftscluster/die-zukunftscluster-d...).
