Teaching Assistant for TUM Climate Venture Course in cooperation with Stanford and MIT as part of the TUM Venture Lab Sustainability and Circular Economy (TVL 13 - 50%)

Do you want to make a significant impact in the climate-tech start-up ecosystem? Join our new TUM Climate Venture Course, a pioneering platform for launching transformative climate-tech ventures. This course aims to develop start-ups addressing critical climate challenges through innovation. As part of the global collaboration between TUM, Stanford and MIT, you will engage with interdisciplinary teams, industry experts, and mentors to create and scale breakthrough climate solutions.

To support this initiative, we are looking for a passionate individual to join us from September 1, 2024.

Key responsibilities:

We need support with various tasks. Let's jointly discuss what might be a good fit! Possible tasks include, for example:

  • Assist in planning and executing the Climate Ventures course at TUM.
  • Organize and coordinate guest lectures, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Facilitate weekly office hours and provide guidance to student teams.
  • Manage course materials and Moodle platform.
  • Evaluate student assignments and provide constructive feedback.
  • Support the development and implementation of climate-tech projects.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support course content and student projects.

Your profile:

  • Master's degree or PhD candidate at TUM with a focus on energy, entrepreneurship, or related fields.
  • Strong interest in climate-tech innovation and entrepreneurship.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with project management and coordination.
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus).

The position is part-time (50%) and limited to 2 years. If you are interested in pursuing a PhD at TUM in the other 50% of your time, we will be happy to support you with our network at TUM and in finding a professor.
