The chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems (sebis) at the Technical University of Munich is looking for an excellent candidate for a paid PhD position in the area of Natural Language Processing starting as soon as possible.
Your responsibilities
- Research & development projects in the area of Software Engineering. Possible areas of specialization include:
- Web Application Engineering
- Model-based Systems Engineering
- AI for Software Engineering
- Software Engineering for ML
- Big Data Architectures
- Cloud Architectures
- Contribution to Software Engineering teaching on Bachelor’s and Master’s levels
- Supervision of Bachelor and Master theses

Your qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- Good theoretical knowledge and practical experience with Software Engineering in general and your desired field of specialization in particular
- Motivation to build innovative solutions involving industrial partners
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead software development in distributed multicultural teams
- Advanced English speaking and writing skills
- At least intermediate German speaking and writing skills
