The Human-Centered Assistive Robotics (HCR) Lab at Technical University of Munich (TUM), in cooperation with the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences at TUM, is looking for a talented PhD candidate (or Postdoctoral researcher) in the field of interpersonal coordination. The candidate will participate the interdisciplinary project on "Life-span development of high-order body representations for the control of body balance: role of prediction during light haptic interactions with another individual". The appointed person will investigate self-perception and self-other distinction in the context of body balance control during human-human interaction, by organizing and conducting behavioral studies on the control of balance between pairs of healthy subjects.

Requirements:
* Master's degree or diploma in psychology, ergonomics, sports science, physiotherapy, or behavioral neuroscience.
* Good administrative, organizational and interpersonal skills.
* High proficiency in writting and speaking German and English.
* Good knowledge in experimental design, empirical methodology, and statistical analysis.
* Publications in recognized conferences/journals.
* Interested to be engaged in teaching and education at TUM.
* Experience in motion measurement methods and basic programming skills (MATLAB or Python) are desired.
Start: The position is available from January 2019.
