Welcome to the TUM-GSISH 3 Year Jubilee! The TUM Graduate School of Information Science in Health is turning 3 years old! During this time, our doctoral candidates together with their project leaders have produced a high research output which we will for the first time present to a broader public! Since the beginning of our young and highly innovative graduate school we have provided our members with an interdisciplinary, high-level education at the interface of information science and medicine, ranging from bioinformatics to biomedical engineering to health informatics. Currently, GSISH is supporting 42 doctoral candidates who are working in the closely intertwined fields of bioinformatics, biomedical informatics, informatics for biomedical engineering and public health informatics. They greatly benefit from the cooperation of GSISH with different TUM departments, the university medical center rechts der Isar, our industry partners, and also our international institutions and universities. Now, the time has come to thank our partners, doctoral candidates, faculty & friends, who have supported us since our foundation in 2008 to become what we are today!
