Medical staff in intensive care units (ICUs) face high levels of stress due to exposure to various alarms, and while testing new interfaces in real ICUs is challenging, virtual reality (VR) simulations offer a promising method to replicate ICU environments and assess optimization scenarios. This project explores integrating an Augmented Reality (AR) head-mounted display into the simulation to improve alarm management.

You will actively support us in conducting research and experiments related to Augmented and Virtual Reality. As a student assistant, you will be part of our vibrant team located at our Heilbronn Campus (www.mgt.tum.de/prof-wuttke). Working hours are flexible and can be between 20 and 40 hours per month.
