Student Assistant – Robotics (8h/week)

The Design Factory Collaborative Construction lab works with collaborative mobile and Industrial robots for research and teaching in robotic fabrication and construction. We're looking for a student assistant to support prototyping across all stages of multiple ongoing projects, from design and prototyping to hands-on operation and testing. Tasks: -Helping with running/organizing the lab -CAD design/editing for 3D printing components -Cabling, soldering, circuit design -Setting up and running experiments with collaborative robots -Programming Arduino and similar dev boards -Building and testing mechatronics prototypes Requirements: -Bachelor's or Master's student in Mechatronics or related field -Hands-on prototyping experience -Proficiency in Python and Arduino -CAD experience (Fusion 360 and/or SolidWorks) -Ability to read/create electrical diagrams -Basic hand-tool skills We offer: hands-on experience with real robotics/mechatronics projects, flexible hours around your studies.
