Studentische Hilfskräfte, HIWI - Driver for fieldwork

Do you like driving and doing hard work outdoors? For our fieldwork in blue-green interactions between land use and biodiversity we are looking for a HIWI with a drivers license and motivation to travel through Germany. The fieldwork is 3 weeks in April-May and 3 weeks in September-October, with fixed dates.

For our project WaterWeb we travel to 3 sites in Germany and we collect samples of water, soil, plants and invertebrates. We offer you training to do so and posibility of being part of the outputs. No background is needed but physical condition to work in the fields for 8 hs daily.

A must for this position is a driver´s license valid in Germany and in general disposition to drive many hours. Car and accomodation are provided.

The fieldwork will be on:

Sunday, 26 April 2026 to Saturday, 2 May 2026 (fix)
Sunday, 10 May 2026 to Saturday, 23 May 2026 (fix)
Sunday, 6 September 2026 to Saturday, 12 September 2026 (almost fix)
Sunday, 20 September 2026 to Saturday, 3 October 2026 (almost fix)
