The Chair of Ergonomics is currently seeking a student assistant to support research and data analysis in the interdisciplinary project ForNeRo (https://fornero.ed.tum.de). The project aims to develop new methods and technologies to measure and improve the ergonomic integration of robotic systems in medical environments. We are looking for independent and motivated students who are eager to contribute meaningfully to research initiatives. The position involves approximately 16 hours per week, with work split between Garching and the TUM Klinikum. Your Tasks • Support pre-clinical studies at TUM Universitätsklinikum Rechts der Isar • Learn and operate our infrared-based recording system to record 3D motion data • Post-process and analyze recorded data building on an existing worklflow Your Profile • Enrollment at TUM • High level of self-organization and reliability • Good command of English • Experience with data management and processing, as well as study support • Experience with camera-based tracking systems, medical robotics, statistical analysis, and German language skills are desirable but not strictly required What We Offer • The opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in medical engineering • Flexible, self-directed working hours • A friendly, interdisciplinary team of aspiring researchers and established experts from various fields and institutions If we have sparked your interest, please send your CV and transcript of records to the following email address: max.bergholz@tum.de
