Master Thesis in Biothermodynamics and Ecology
24.10.2024, Studentische Hilfskräfte, Praktikantenstellen, Studienarbeiten
We want to look for differences in fat consumption between wild bees of different species that have overwintered in a gradient of temperatures. We do that with chemical essays and statistical analyses. The bees are already there after an experiment with different temperatures last year, so the thesis would mostly be lab work (e.g., GC-MS) and analytical work.
The thesis is unpaid (not a HIWI job) and only for TUM students (lab located in campus Freising).
We offer training, a nice working environment within a collaboration between several chairs and possibility to be part of publications and grants. YOu should have time availability for training already in November-December 2024 and start the thesis soon after with your expose.
If you are interested in wild bees, chemistry, biology and learning more about mathematics of thermal dynamics, please contact us with your CV and a letter of intention.
