To support the development and implementation of electrotechnical (detailed) solutions, the realization of prototypes or the necessary digital tools (robots, etc.), we are looking for a student assistant in the field of mechatronics, electrical engineering.

The Design Factory is the central facility of the Department of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich School of Engineering and Design. As an overarching center for research and development, the facility is available to scientists and students to create and test research papers, dissertations, designs, and theses. The “Collaborative Construction” area synergistically combines analogue and digital design and construction processes and the resulting complex building structures. The Design Factory CC is a central facility for the 31 chairs of the Department of Architecture and provides the technological basis for research-related teaching and research projects. We are looking for support for the operational operation, development and further development.


Your tasks:
- Support in the development and implementation of electrotechnical (detailed) solutions
- Supporting the scientists and students in realising prototypes or the necessary digital tools (robots, etc.)
- Support in the organisation and coordination of the processes of the Design Factory and the machinery
- Commissioning the rectification of faults, repairs and maintenance work
- Assistance with the introduction of safety processes, instructions on the machines

Your requirements profile:
We are looking for a personable, team-oriented and service-minded individual who enjoys supporting students and scientists in implementing their ideas, projects and prototypes, taking on changing challenges and contributing their own ideas.
- Ongoing studies in mechatronics, electrical engineering or similar
- You have very good German and good English skills
- You are characterized by a high level of commitment, flexibility and service orientation and enjoy working in a solution-oriented team
- You are very reliable and conscientious in your work
