Student Assistant in Design for TUM Project Week Course

Who are we looking for?
Are you interested in the connections between Climate Change and global conflict? Are you looking for a part-time HiWi role where you can make a difference?

What you will work on
In order for this course to be successful, two HiWis will be hired at 7.5hrs a week. One of these roles will focus on supporting the course from a design perspective.
As a student assistant, your role will involve:
- Building and prepare design focused learning materials and examples for the students to support their required detailed visualization of their results
- Serving as a liaison between TUM and the design focused external advisors to ensure the appropriate design tools are being leveraged
- Providing additional support to the students as they create their visualizations during and after TUM Project Week
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a strong familiarity with design programs (ie: Affinity, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.).
- Has helped plan organize, and manage events in the past.
- Can work independently, responsibly, and with a structured approach.
- Showcase a basic interest in Climate Change and/or global conflict.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and a keen interest in data science.
- Be proficient in both spoken and written English.
