The research group Prof. Dr. med. K. Götze (Hematology, III. Medical Clinic, Klinikum rechts der Isar, Max-Weber-Platz, Trogerstr. 32) is looking for a reliable student assistant for 10h/week on 520 Euro-basis! Activities will include processing of primary material from the clinic (eg. Bone marrow aspirates), cell culture, and support of lab members in the setup of experimental trials. In the future, this position may be combined with a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.

The research group Prof. Dr. med. K. Götze (Hematology, III. Medical Clinic, Klinikum rechts der Isar, Max-Weber-Platz, Trogerstr. 32) is looking for a reliable student assistant for 10h/week on a 520 Euro-basis per month. The starting date is September 2024.

We welcome applications from motivated Bachelor or Master students in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedicine or similar, who are interested in staying for at least 6 months – with the possibility of extension. Working hours can be organized flexibly but afternoon availability is preferred.
Activities will include processing of primary material from the clinic (eg. bone marrow aspirates), cell culture, and support of lab members in the setup of experimental trials. In the future, this position may be combined with a bachelor’s or master’s thesis.

You should be:
- Matriculated student
- Responsible, accurate, and team-oriented way of working
- Fluent in English (German language is an asset but not a must)
- Prior experience with work lab is valuable
- Prior experience with cell culture is valuable
