Issue 01/2011

Dear Students,

Welcome to the Summer Semester 2011! TUM is coming to you! With TUMstudinews, we want to inform you about the latest developments and improvements at your university; introduce new service offers; and point out interesting events, important competitions, and new funding or scholarship programs. You should also be informed about daily campus life. This includes, for example, major construction and renovation projects at the various campuses. These measures are being instigated to improve your study conditions. In return, we must all accept a few limitations during the construction and renovation process.

Please subscribe to this newsletter if you would like to receive it regularly in the future!

The year 2011 is one with special challenges. With the double graduate cohort, considerably more freshmen are starting university in the winter semester. You can rest assured! TUM is well prepared...

Yours sincerely,

Wolfgang A. Herrmann

President
