Media relations team

The Media Relations team has offices on all three TUM campuses: Munich, Garching and Freising-Weihenstephan.

Munich	for the Faculties of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy, Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Medicine, Sports Science, Economics
Garching	for the Faculties of Chemistry, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics and the Forschungsneutronenquelle Heinz Maier-Leibnitz (FRM II), the Central Institute of Medical Engineering (IMETUM) and the Walter Schottky Institut (WSI)
Weihenstephan	for the Faculty "Center of Life and Food Sciences Weihenstephan", the Research Center for Nutrition and Food Sciences (ZIEL) and the Hans-Eisenmann-Zentrum for Agricultural Science

We are the first point of contact for journalists, employees and university associates.

Our core competences:

The Media Relations team on the campuses in the city center, Garching and Freising Weihenstephan informs the general public about new discoveries and developments in research and tuition at TU München and reports on advancements made at our university. The Media Relations team caters for all journalistic enquiries, answers questions and arranges interviews between media representatives and the scientists and representatives of our university. They also advise and support institutions and staff of TU München with regard to media activities (press releases, press conferences).
