Chiemsee

Lake Chiemsee is one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria. It has three Islands.
On the Frauen Island you find the Abbey Frauenwörth (founded in 772 A.D.), a convent
of Benedictine nuns and a landscaped park with the Old Castle (a former convent).
Herren Island is home to the New Castle Herrenchiemsee of King Ludwig II.
The third island is uninhabited. We will visit this fairytale like place via a ship cruise.
